Overall it just flows better and feels more like a proper ending to the game. Instead, Quiplash 3 gets rid of this ending and swaps it out for a three-prompt round, where two players are pitted against each other, and can provide three answers to a prompt such as “The three steps to have a perfect little morning.” Each answer is read out one at a time, giving players more of a sense of timing and presentation to their answers. Plus, it’s over pretty quickly in something of an anti-climax. It’s fine! But having so many answers to one prompt can drive home how difficult it is for your group to be funny. In previous Quiplashes, players would compete to fill in prompts against each other, only for everyone to get the same prompt in the final round.

However, this version does something crucial: it fixes the godawful endgame.

Zeeple Dome (1-6 players) - Players participate simultaneously in a physics-based action game (a first for the series) where they work together to fling their aliens at enemies and power-ups.Quiplash is one of Jackbox’s classic games, so putting in a third version feels like a cheat to raise the pack’s average quality.

Players then vote on the winning inventions.

Patently Stupid (3-8 players) - After coming up with everyday problems that may need solving, players must come up with an idea for an invention that solves one of the problems and draw it while coming up with a name and description.

Each rap is presented using different text-to-speech voices, and players vote on which of the two raps were better.

Mad Verse City (3-8 players) - Players participate in one-on-one rap battles as cartoonish giant robots.

Players earn points based on how evenly the votes were split between both their answer and the original. For each answer, other players must decide between that answer and the original answer.
